Physical Audio Tetrad is a groundbreaking hybrid instrument that fuses physical modeling with granular synthesis to create rich, experimental soundscapes. Built around a unique four-bus signal path, it drives four physically modeled plates and a powerful modulation matrix, rewarding creative exploration. Developed with composer and transmedia artist Gadi Sassoon, Tetrad takes inspiration from his sculpture-based installation heard on Modes of Vibration, reimagining it as a versatile plugin for DAWs. With four oscillators per voice, advanced amplitude modulation, granular processing, and resonant plate modeling, Tetrad offers a dynamic and unconventional approach to synthesis unlike any traditional plugin.
