Rippler didn’t start life as a reFX product. A developer named Tiagolr released it as a free physical modeling synth earlier in 2026, and it built a following fast, people compared it to Chromaphone 3 and meant it as a compliment. On the fix side: crashes when editing modulation connections during playback, an Undo bug that skipped the first change, and a discrepancy where the Rand modulator behaved differently on macOS than on Windows, now resolved so both platforms match.
